Introduction
Good day, Hashnode family. I'm Gaius, a front-end web developer who you all probably already know at this point. You can just call me Gaiuscode because the word "code" inspires me to strive for greater coding accomplishments. I am a teenager from Nigeria with a big desire. I study at the University of Ilorin as an undergraduate. I graduated from high school last year, and although I look much older than my actual age, I am proudly 17 years old. I currently reside somewhere in Omu-Aran, Kwara State, Nigeria. Even though I had no idea what coding actually was when I was younger, I enjoyed it. I once thought persons who write code were unique individuals with unique brains. This year, I learned more about technology, and I also began web development.
Challenges
My surroundings were completely incompatible with my enthusiasm for programming, despite the fact that I had it. In the small town where I grew up, technology did not exist at all. There was no one I could learn from, no one to raise me up, and I didn't have any technology, not even a phone. I was distracted from programming by this. I prioritized education. After high school, I met some people who were already involved in technology; they provided me with some helpful advice and showed me some websites where I could begin my path. I made so many connections with tech folks who are knowledgeable about what the industry comprises, the requirements, and how to succeed in the tech environment. I requested a scholarship for an internship program, and I was granted one. I then began front-end web programming, which has been fantastic.
Conclusion
I firmly think that in order to succeed in anything, you must start from someplace and move forward despite obstacles. You must also maintain a steady pace and avoid procrastination. GET STARTED! Networking can be powerful as long as you do it with the proper people—those who have positive attitudes, big ideas, clear visions, and a growth mindset—who will inspire you and give you the boost you need to realize your aspirations.
